Day 1

Break is over and classes began today at the university.  The empty halls are now packed with students from all over the globe. If you let your eyes travel to the back of this photo you can see people all the way to the glass doors at the end of the hall.

There was much excitement and happenings on campus today. I sensed a huge difference in atmosphere and on their faces from that of finals week in December!
We are very cold here in Miami these days, so you can see that the students are dressed much different than usual campus wear of shorts and flip-flops. (I hear we actually broke a nine year record for the cold temp.)

Here - out of the throng is one; a fine Cuban boy who comes to our Bible studies.  He is modeling the shirt we recently had made for our students.  They chose the color and the verse on the back of the shirt. We added our logo to the front and ooo-la-la -- a shirt they can be proud to wear on campus.

We are hoping this can be an added tool for the students this semester as they seek to share their faith on campus.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
Galatians 2:20a
