For our girls Bible study this week we went on a treasure hunt through the Word.  Each team received an envelope similar to this one with the directions to the treasure.
They had to dig through the Scriptures and find what each verse had in common. All the clues had to do with the attributes of God, but they did not know that at first.
Then we shared the treasure with the other teams as a group. They really liked this approach, though some of them are not yet believers. It was just so special to be able to show them what God says about Himself in the Word.  We really focused on God's holiness and justice. The girls had many good questions.

My neice (and brother) came to visit me this week.  Her biggest request was to go to the water.  Being on campus so much, we were quite happy to comply.  :)    I never tire of the sea. It is consistently beautiful and always changing.
The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Psalm 93:4

  1. I have been praying for your Tuesday nights girls' Bible study. The treasure hunt technique is very creative!

Beautiful water pictures! That's something we don't get to see here in central IN!
