Tropical Storm Bonnie is currently passing over us here in South Florida.  The rain and the winds are strong, but not like a hurricane.  We have lost our electricity once this morning but it is currently back on now.  With the heavy cloud cover it is quite dark and will probably be this way all day.
Here is our first casualty of the day ... a tiny, little tree frog on our lanai, succumbed to the very thing frogs like - water.
We are fine; if the electricity stays on we plan to just take it easy today and perhaps get into a good book (by lantern if necessary)  :)

Here's a shot of our typical Florida.

  1. Oh, I wondered how Bonnie was affecting you there. Glad it's not like a hurricane.

    Poor leetle froggie!
