Photography Gift Shop

In the last few months I have been enjoying a camera God graciously provided for me.  I love to carry it with me nearly everywhere I go… “just in case”.

My journey in the photography world has just begun but I have taken many photos in the past few months.  I would love to share some of those with you.

Today is the opening of my little gift shop--
a place to find a picture for your home
or a gift for someone you love.

To celebrate the goodness of God in providing the camera, and in honor of my supportive husband, I am hosting a give-away.   One of you will be able to choose any single photo (5x7) from the shop.

If you wish to be included in the give-away,
1.) visit my photography site or click on the page tab above named “Scripture Prints”,
2.) view the photos in the gift shop (4 galleries currently available) and choose your favorite (the title is under each photo),
3.) then come back to this page and leave me one comment (click on 'responses' below) telling me which one is your favorite and why.
That’s it-  no need to do anything else.

For a second entry, please leave me a comment on this blog telling me of your favorite verse.

If you do not have a place on the web, be sure to leave me your name and email address with your comment.
The give-away will be open until  Feb. 11 at 11:00 p.m.
and is available for residents of all of North America.

In my photography shop you can purchase photos (5x7 or 8x10) as well as have them printed on mugs, and other fun items.  I hope the gift shop will be a blessing to you.

  1. My favorite verse is Galatians 2:20 - "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
But, I have also come to really love Ephesians 3:20 as I have seen it so lovingly demonstrated by God in my life time and time again. :)

    Beautiful Pictures!

  3. I love so many verses in the Word, but the 23rd Psalm is a great favorite! I recite it over and over. It is engraved on my heart!

  4. I am so impressed by your God given photography skill! You have truly blessed me over the years of reading your blog and seeing the pictures you post. I love all of the Scripture prints in your shop, but since I am a feeder and watcher of birds, I especially love the pictures of the sparrows and the accompanying verses.

  5. "Teach Me" is the one I choose. What a wondeful way to enourage scripture memorization. "Teach me thy way oh LORD and lead me in a plain path because of my enemies" Psa. 27:11 Mom and I have "adopted" all of Psalm 27 as our "go to" scripture. Been that way for 57 years. :) :)

  6. I browsed through all of the scenic pictures. They are gorgeous, and I was uplifted by each one. My favorite is "Sing." Why? The picture and accompanying verse is a poignant reminder for me to sing about how wonderful Jesus is and what He has done. Also, the bird is singing alone. I can relate. When I sing to Jesus I'm often alone :).

  8. Congratulations on your photography shop! You've always been so creative and artistic, I'm glad you've found this outlet for your talent. The photos are lovely, it's really hard to choose one. However the combination of the photo and verse on "White Peacock" struck home. Best wishes!

  9. Hello Sharon,

I love your new shop! All are beautiful and it was certainly hard to pick a favorite. :) I adore II Corinthians 12:9 "My Grace is sufficient for thee". The birds are so sweet!

Thank you so much for allowing me to take part in your beautiful giveaway!

  15. I love the "Longing Tree" picture. The verse spoke to me because it is the cry of my heart. The sepia and simplicity drew my attention.

  16. They are all so beautiful - it's hard to pick just one! But the one I keep going back to is the one called "Sing." It's a reminder that I need often, to keep "singing of the mercies of the Lord forever..." Besides that, I love the simplicity of the picture: the black & white tones and the single-object focus are very striking.

  17. Well, it's also really hard to pick a favorite verse, :) but here's one that I really like: Isaiah 32:17 - "And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever."
Thanks for letting us participate!! :)

  18. I really like "Golden Glory." It has very little of man's sinful presence... the further away you get from man's inventions, the closer you can reach towards God's creation. Thank you for all of the beautiful picture/verse combinations. I was blessed by them all!

  19. These are lovely, absolutely lovely! You have done an excellent job of making a one-picture decision quite a challenge.;) But I think I will go with "Blushing Pixie." The vibrant pink, the lush greenery, and the reminder that the joy of the Lord is what carries us through the tests of life... it all combines to make this one a winner.

  20. A few favorite verses:
"He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them." Psalm 145:19

"Fear not... be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God." Joel 2:21,23

  21. Choosing 1 picture is such a task! I'm going to say Lifeguard Watch because of the simpilicity and clarity of the one subject in focus.

  22. A favorite verse -- oh there are so many! One of my all time favorites is Psalm 16:11 - "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

  23. Favorite verse:
"The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth forever: forsake not the works of thine own hands." Psalm 138:8
This verse is a sweet reminder to me of God's perfect and changeless sovereignty, and that I can trust Him with every aspect of life.

  24. Sharon, I agree with everyone in the comments. These are absolutely wonderful and can be used as postcards, posters and cards. Your gift is truly a gift from God and I pray He blesses you in this as you continue to pursue. May God be glorified. His word will go forth in homes now and of the future. Who knows where His word will travel through your gift of photography in this manner.
I love the Garden tree, the schoolhouse pump and the butterfly especially. Beautiful!
