Seen On Campus

It poured buckets of rain today, despite the fact that rainy season is still two full months away. Between thunder rolls and lightning bolts, there was a brief reprieve before the next wave of water falling from the sky.

In this momentary calm I walked across campus to meet another student for a Bible study.  There at my feet was a reflection of God's handiwork-  a tree that has withstood countless tropical downpours.

Reaching towards the sky with its bare arms, it's roots drank from the earth, getting ready to display the coming buds that will soon array it's form with more evidence of God... life!

"... I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly."
John 10:10

  1. May my life reflect the handiwork of the Lord the way this tree is reflected in the water. And may my roots drink deeply of the Living Water of Life.
