Five years ago, Mike and his wife had a vision
for starting a Bible-preaching church in Santaquin, UT.
Settled in 1851, it is home to about 10,000 people.
There is no other church of any kind, except Mormonism in the city.

Sunday we attended the service there as they celebrated five years.

Mike and his wife are transitioning into another ministry
and the church is preparing to call a full-time pastor.

It was a delight to sing together,
listen to the preaching of the Word,

fellowship with others who know real joy,

and share a simple meal together afterwards.

It will be good to see what God will do
with a small band of believers
who have a heart for a needy city.

Please pray for Santaquin Baptist Church.

  1. What a wonderful, pioneering ministry! It is very special that there is a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church in a community with no other such churches. May God bless this ministry--the fields are white for harvest in Utah.
